Is 2♦ stronger than 3♦? Sort out the raises, understand partner's next bid, then practice the hands together.
You open a major and partner raises, and game depends on one suit you’re worried about. A help suit game try names that suit and asks partner to cover it, and a spiral raise asks how long and how good partner’s raise really was.
Partner opens a major and you have four trumps and real values. Jacoby 2NT asks about shape, the splinter bid tells it without being asked.
Partner opens 1NT and you hold a four-card major. 2♣ asks the question that finds your fit.
Show your five-card major over 1NT and let the strong hand declare. The partner of Stayman.

The most flexible call in bridge. When to double, what it asks of partner, and how to respond.
The game-forcing framework tournament pairs rely on to bid the right games and slams.
The opponents overcall and your major is stuck. The negative double keeps it in the auction.
The most disruptive opening bid in bridge. Steal their auction with a six-card suit and 5 to 10 points, then find your game.
Twelve tricks and how to find them. Control bids, Roman Keycard Blackwood 1430, and the tools that keep you out of the bad slams.
Two long suits and one bid that shows them both. Michaels cue bids, the Unusual 2NT, when to stay quiet, and how to defend when the opponents use them on you.
You don't have enough information to place the contract, so you ask for more. Fourth suit forcing and new minor forcing are the auction's two most useful questions.
Fill out a card that matches the way you and your partner actually play, front to back.
Defensive signals that tell partner what you have and what you want. Attitude, count, and suit preference.
