Welcome to Bridge Unleashed. These terms are the agreement between you and Bridge Unleashed LLC. They cover our website at bridgeunleashed.com, our student portal, our workshops, our membership, and everything we teach. Please read them. We have kept them as short and as plain as we could.
By buying from us, creating an account, or using anything we publish, you are agreeing to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.
1. Who we are
Bridge Unleashed LLC is a bridge education business. We teach contract bridge through live online workshops, recorded replays, written workbooks, an email curriculum, and a membership community. We are a teaching business, not a card room and not a sanctioning body.

2. Who can use Bridge Unleashed
You need to be 18 or older to buy from us or hold an account. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to buy on your behalf and hold the account.
Your account is yours alone. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into your account. You are responsible for what happens under your login.
One person, one account. A workshop ticket or a membership admits one person. Sharing a login with a partner, a club, a study group, or anyone else is not permitted, and section 5 explains what happens if you do.
3. What you are buying
Workshops. A workshop ticket buys you a seat at the live sessions listed on that workshop page, plus access to the recordings of those sessions and any workbook we provide with them. Where a workshop includes a Play of the Hand session, that session is part of the same ticket.
Replays. Some workshops are sold after the fact as replays. A replay ticket buys the recordings and materials, not a live seat.
50 Conventions in 50 Days. A one-time purchase of the email curriculum.
VIP membership. A recurring membership covering live workshops, replays, workbooks, the workshop library, and the community, for as long as your membership is active. Section 6 sets out the subscription terms in full.
How long you have access. Workshop and replay purchases stay in your account for as long as we operate the portal and continue to offer that workshop. Membership access lasts as long as your membership does and ends when it ends. We do not promise that any particular recording will remain available forever, and if we are going to retire something significant we will tell members in advance.
Where you watch. On a computer, in a browser at portal.bridgeunleashed.com. On a phone or tablet, in the free GoKollab app. Some live sessions also use third-party platforms such as Zoom or BridgeChamp, and those are run by their own companies under their own terms. You may need a free account with them.
4. Payment, and the fact that sales are final
Prices are shown on the page where you buy, in US dollars, and you pay at checkout. Payment is handled by our payment processor, not by us, and we never see or store your full card number.
All sales are final. Our content is delivered digitally and immediately. Once you have opened it, it cannot be given back, so we do not refund it. In particular, we do not refund because you changed your mind, because you could not attend a live session, because you did not get to the material, or because the workshop was not what you hoped for.
We fix problems, and that is the remedy. If you cannot reach something you paid for, tell us and we will get you in. Our team answers Monday through Friday during US daytime hours at [email protected]. If a workshop genuinely does not work the way we described it, we will put it right, and in the rare case we cannot get you access at all, we will refund you.
Trouble on your own end is not grounds for a refund. A recorded workshop is not lost when your connection drops, your device misbehaves or your browser plays up during a live session. The replay is there. We would much rather solve those with you, and most of them take a couple of minutes.
If you are buying from the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have 14 days to change your mind. If you asked for immediate access at checkout and agreed there that you were giving up that right, it ends as soon as you start watching. Either way, you keep your right to a remedy if the content itself is faulty.
Please write to us before you dispute a charge with your bank. A dispute freezes the order on our side, which takes away the fastest way we have to put it right. One email usually settles it the same day.
5. Our content, and what you may and may not do with it
Everything we make is ours. The workshop recordings, the live teaching, the workbooks, the deal sets and hand records, the slides, the 50 Conventions curriculum, the blog posts, the glossary, the videos, the graphics, the site itself, and the Bridge Unleashed name and logo are all owned by Bridge Unleashed LLC and protected by copyright and trademark law.
What you get is a licence, not ownership. When you buy, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to watch, read and use the material yourself, for your own bridge, for as long as your access lasts. That is the whole of what you get.
You may watch a replay as many times as you like, print a workbook for your own use, take your own notes, and use what you learn at the table for the rest of your life. What you learn is yours. We are teaching you bridge, and we want you to use it.
You may not:
Record, screen-capture, film, download, rip or copy any workshop, live session or video, by any means
Share, forward, post, upload, stream, sell, rent, lend or otherwise distribute any of our material to anyone else, publicly or privately, in whole or in part
Share your login, your password, or your access with any other person, including a bridge partner, a family member outside your household, a club, or a study group
Use our material to teach, whether you are paid or not, or use it to build a course, a class, a lesson plan, a club programme or any competing product
Post our workbooks, deal sets or hand records to any file-sharing service, cloud drive, forum, group chat, social platform or website
Use our material to train, fine-tune or build any artificial intelligence or machine learning system
Remove or obscure any copyright notice, watermark or attribution
Reverse engineer, scrape or bulk-download the site or the portal
What happens if you do. We may suspend or close your account and end your access immediately, without a refund of anything you have paid. We may also pursue whatever remedies the law gives us. We would much rather never do any of this, and we have found that saying it clearly once is usually enough.
If you want to share it, ask. Teachers, club managers and directors write to us about using our material all the time, and we have a licence for that. Write to [email protected]. The answer is often yes.
6. Subscriptions and Automatic Renewal
Bridge Unleashed VIP is a paid subscription. When you join, you are agreeing to the terms in this section. These subscription terms take effect 11 August 2026.
What you pay and when. VIP Monthly is $79 per month. VIP Annual is $750 per year. You are charged when you join, and again at the start of each new billing period.
Your subscription renews automatically. It continues until you cancel it. We will charge the payment method you gave us at the start of each renewal period, at the price then in effect for your plan, until you tell us to stop.
You can cancel any time, and you cancel it yourself. Sign in to your Bridge Unleashed account and cancel from your account settings. You do not need to call us, email us, or ask anyone's permission. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep your access until then. We do not charge a cancellation fee.
If you are on an annual plan, we will remind you before we charge you. We send a reminder to the email address on your account at least 21 days before each annual renewal, telling you the date, the amount, and how to cancel if you would rather not continue.
If the price changes, you will hear it from us first. We will give you at least 30 days notice by email before any price increase or any other material change to these subscription terms takes effect. If you do not want to continue at the new price, cancel before the change takes effect and you will not be charged it.
Founding members. Members who joined at the founding annual rate keep that rate for as long as they maintain continuous membership, as promised when they joined.
What your membership includes. Access to live workshops, replays, workbooks, and the workshop library for as long as your membership is active. Access ends when your membership ends.
Subscription payments are not refunded. Cancelling stops the next charge. It does not refund the period you are in, and you keep your access through the period you have paid for.

7. How we expect people to behave
Our live sessions and our community run on one rule, and it is the rule the whole business is built on: no question is too basic. We mean that, and we protect it.
So please do not belittle another student, disrupt a session, spam the community, post anything unlawful or hateful, impersonate anyone, or use our community to sell your own products. We may remove content and remove people who do, and if the behaviour is bad enough we will do it without warning and without a refund.
8. Anything you post
If you post a question, a hand, a comment or anything else in our community or to our site, you keep ownership of it. You give us permission to display it inside the service, and to use an anonymised version of a hand or a question as a teaching example. We will not put your name to anything publicly without asking you first.
Please do not post anything you do not have the right to post.
9. Things we do not promise
We work hard to run good sessions on reliable software, but we do not promise the service will always be available or always be faultless. Live sessions depend on platforms we do not control, and occasionally something breaks. When it does, we record, we reschedule, or we get you the replay.
We teach bridge. We do not promise that any particular convention, system or technique will win you a specific result, a masterpoint, or a match. Bridge does not work that way and neither does teaching.
Except where the law says otherwise, the service is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind.
10. Limits on what we owe
Except where the law does not allow it, Bridge Unleashed LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and if you are a consumer, nothing here takes away rights the law gives you.
11. Ending things
You can stop using the service whenever you like, and you can cancel a membership from your account settings.
We can suspend or close your account if you break these terms, particularly section 5 or section 7, if you do something unlawful, or if we are required to. If we close your account for breaking the rules, you do not get a refund. If we close it for our own reasons and you have done nothing wrong, we will refund the unused part of anything you have prepaid.
Sections 5, 9, 10 and 12 carry on after your account ends.
12. If something goes wrong between us
Please write to us first at [email protected]. Nearly everything is solved by an email, and we would like the chance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, and the courts of the State of California have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not take away any protection you have under the mandatory laws of the country you live in, or your right to bring a claim there.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects what you have bought, we will tell you by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms. Changes to the subscription terms in section 6 always come with at least 30 days notice, as that section says.
14. The usual small print
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. If we do not enforce something straight away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. You may not transfer your account or your rights under these terms to anyone else. We may transfer ours if the business changes hands.
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy below and anything you agreed to at checkout, are the whole agreement between us.

Bridge Unleashed LLC is committed to protecting the privacy of the data relating to our users, and their clients. We will collect, store, use and protect any personal information that you share with us. We will not share your information with anyone, except as described in this Terms and Conditions.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to information we collect by other means than your use of the Service (including offline) or from other sources. When you sign up for Bridge Unleashed and use the Service you agree to accept this Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to change this policy at any time, and if we do so, we will post changes and updates to this page. Please refer to this policy periodically to inform yourself if changes have been made.
We collect certain information through our website, located at bridgeunleashed.com (our “Website”). This page (this “Privacy Policy”) lays out our policies and procedures surrounding the collection and handling of any such information that identifies an individual user or that could be used to contact or locate him or her (“Personally Identifiable Information” or “PII”).
Information We May Collect
We collect the following information from people who buy our products: name, email address, telephone number, and billing address. Payments are processed by our payment provider. We receive a confirmation and the last four digits of the card, and we never see or store your full card number.
We also collect information about how you use the service: which lessons and replays you have opened, your progress through a course, questions you post in the community, and standard technical information from your browser such as device type and pages visited.
Additional information from or about you may also be collected in other ways, including responses to customer surveys and any communications with our customer service team.
We use “cookies” so that our Website can remember you and provide you with the information you’re most likely to need. For instance, when you return to the Website, cookies identify you and prompt the site to provide your username (not your password), so you can sign in more quickly. Cookies also allow our Website to remind you of your past usage and to suggest similar products and services. Finally, we use information gained through cookies to compile statistical information about use of our Website, such as the time users spend at the site and the pages they visit most often. Those statistics do not include PII.
SMS Marketing and Communications Policy (Effective January 27, 2025)
1. Consent to Receive SMS Messages
By providing your mobile number and opting into SMS communications, you expressly consent to receive text messages (which may include promotional, transactional, or informational messages) from Bridge Unleashed LLC (the "Company") at the mobile number you provide. You acknowledge and agree that:
Consent must be provided directly to Bridge Unleashed and cannot be transferred or assumed for other companies or affiliates. You will only receive messages from Bridge Unleashed and not from third-party partners unless you provide separate, explicit consent to them.Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile service provider.
2. Revoking SMS Consent (Effective April 11, 2025)
You have the right to revoke your consent at any time. To opt out of receiving SMS messages, reply to any message with one of the following recognized opt-out keywords:

3. Record-Keeping and Compliance

4. Prohibited Use of SMS Services
You agree that you will not:

5. Changes to SMS Communication Terms
We reserve the right to modify this SMS Marketing and Communications Policy at any time to comply with regulatory updates. Any changes will be reflected in this Agreement, and we encourage you to review these terms periodically. Your continued use of our SMS services after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
Our Use of Personally Identifiable Information
We use your Personally Identifiable Information to create your account, to communicate with you about products and services you’ve purchased, to offer additional products and services, and to bill you. We also use this information to the extent necessary to enforce our Website terms of service and to prevent imminent harm to persons or property.
When you use the Service, including accepting a payment, contacting customer service or requesting technical support, in addition to many other interactions with Bridge Unleashed, we will apply the information that we have collected. Knowing this information allows us to verify your identity, communicate with you and enforce our agreements with you, as well as secure the best possible experience for all Bridge Unleashed customers by ensuring compliance with applicable US state and federal laws and our own policies. We may also use this information to improve and enhance our offerings to you.
Bridge Unleashed may use certain information about you without identifying you as an individual to third parties. We do this for purposes such as analyzing how the Service is used, diagnosing service or technical problems, maintaining security, and personalizing content.
Protecting Personal Information
Information that can be used to identify a person is “Personally Identifiable Information”. This does not include information that has been aggregated or made anonymous. All information is securely stored on our servers in the United States. We use industry standard measures to protect Personally Identifiable Information.
Information you give us is treated as confidential and is not disclosed to any third party, unless we are required to do so by law or subpoena, or we believe the disclosure is necessary to comply with legal process served on us. We use it only to run the service you bought: to give you access, to teach you, to support you, and to keep your account working.
Although Bridge Unleashed utilizes the highest reasonable levels of data security in the industry, we cannot guarantee the security of PII or other information provided to us. By using our Website, you acknowledge and agree that we make no such guarantee, and that you use our Website at your own risk.
Sharing Personal Information
Bridge Unleashed will not rent or sell your Personal Information to others. We may store personal information in locations outside the direct control of Bridge Unleashed (for instance, on servers or databases co-located with hosting providers). Bridge Unleashed will share your Personal Information with a limited number of our partners for the explicit purpose of providing services to you. If we do this, such third parties’ use of your Personal Information will be bound by terms at least as restrictive as this Privacy Policy.
As we develop our business, we may buy or sell assets or business offerings. Customer, transaction, email, and visitor information is generally one of the transferred business assets in these types of transactions. We may also transfer such information in the course of corporate divestitures, bankruptcy, mergers, or dissolution.
Except as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy, Bridge Unleashed will not disclose Personal Information to any third party unless required to do so by law or subpoena or if we believe that such action is necessary to (a) conform to the law, comply with legal process served on us or our affiliates, or investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected or actual illegal activities; (b) to enforce our User Agreement, take precautions against liability, to investigate and defend ourselves against any third-party claims or allegations, to assist government enforcement agencies, or to protect the security or integrity of our site; and (c) to exercise or protect the rights, property, or personal safety of Bridge Unleashed, our customers or others.
Compromise of Personal Information
In the event that personal information is compromised as a result of a breach of security, Bridge Unleashed will promptly notify those persons whose personal information has been compromised, in accordance with the notification procedures set forth in this Privacy Policy, by email, or as otherwise required by applicable law.
Bridge Unleashed shall not be liable for the transfer of any personal identification information resulting from loss or distribution of data, the delineation or corruption of storage media, power failures, natural phenomena, riots, acts of vandalism, sabotage, terrorism or any other event beyond Bridge Unleashed's control.
Your Choices About Your Information
You may, of course, decline to submit personally identifiable information through the Service, in which case Bridge Unleashed may not be able to provide certain services to you. You may update or correct your account information at any time by logging in to your account. You can review and correct the information about you that Bridge Unleashed keeps on file by contacting us as described below.
Information Relating to Minors
Bridge Unleashed does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 18 or knowingly allow such persons to register with our Service. If you are under 18, please do not send any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address. No one under age 18 is allowed to provide any personal information to or on Bridge Unleashed. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a minor under age 18 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under 18, please contact us as described below.

Bridge Unleashed is not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our website, nor the information or content contained therein. Please remember that when you use a link to go from our website to another website, our Privacy Policy is no longer in effect. Your browsing and interaction on any other website, including those that have a link on our website, is subject to that website’s own rules and policies. Please read over those rules and policies before proceeding.
Notification Procedures
It is our policy to provide notifications, whether such notifications are required by law or are for marketing or other business related purposes, to you via email notice, written or hard copy notice, or through conspicuous posting of such notice on our website, as determined by Bridge Unleashed in its sole discretion. We reserve the right to determine the form and means of providing notifications to you.

If we change our privacy policies and procedures, we will post those changes on our website to keep you aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we may disclose it. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
