Partner matching.
Before we arrive, you tell me your conventions and your comfort level, and I pair you with a partner from the group.
Monday January 4 to Thursday January 7, 2027, at the Hyatt Regency Monterey.
Four days of tournament bridge with a partner matched to you, a team to play with, lessons from me, and a working lunch Tuesday through Thursday where we go over the boards.
$250 for the group experience. Hotel, flights, meals out and entry fees are yours to book and pay.

The first 8 to sign up play a session with me.
Tracey at the table with a partner
The first session starts Monday, January 4, 2027, at 1:30 PM Pacific.
A regional on your own means a stranger from the partnership desk, lunch by yourself, and a hand you misplayed and never got to ask about.
Come with the group and you arrive with a partner who plays your conventions, a team for the team games, and a coach at lunch who saw the same boards you did. I've been going to regionals for years and I know the difference it makes to walk in with your people.
Tracey Bauer, Two-time WBF Women's Spring Festival Champion (2020 and 2022)

Before we arrive, you tell me your conventions and your comfort level, and I pair you with a partner from the group.
The bracketed team games put you against your peers. I build our teams so you play alongside people at your level.
Short lessons through the week, built around what is coming up on the schedule and what came up at the table.
A prepaid working lunch Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, in the break between the 10 and 3 sessions. Bring your hand records and we walk through the ones that got away.
I arrange the evenings out. You order what you like and pay for your own meal. Thursday night is Mission Ranch in Carmel, Clint Eastwood's place, with a piano bar. I'm ordering the prime rib.
This is for the first 8 paid registrations only, in order of payment, and it closes when the 8th seat is taken.
Each session, Monday through Thursday, I partner a different one of the first 8, rotating through all of you once, in pairs or on a team depending on the event.

Which events the group enters depends on who comes. Once I know the masterpoint spread I set the schedule and send it to everyone.

I arrange the evenings out. You order what you like and pay for your own meal.
I'm ordering the prime rib.
You get a confirmation email with the hotel code and a link to the ACBL flyer.
Right after you pay, you fill in a short partnership questionnaire: your conventions, your masterpoints, the days you are playing, whether you want to play Saturday or Sunday with me, and anything the lunches need to know about (allergies, vegetarian).
Registration closes January 1, 2027. Partner and team assignments go out by January 2.
By January 2, along with your assignments, you get the dinner reservations and the lesson schedule.
Yes. Gold Rush pairs are for players under 750 masterpoints and the Monday 99er game is for newer players. You will have a partner and a coach, which is more than most first-timers get.
No. Matching you with one is the first thing the $250 does. Every session Monday through Thursday you will have a pair or a team assignment.
The group experience runs Monday to Thursday. Come for the days you can; the $250 is the same either way because the matching, the lessons and the lunches are planned for the group as a whole. Saturday and Sunday are optional: tick the box on the partnership questionnaire and I'll reach out to you.
Cancel by January 1, 2027 and $200 of your $250 comes back to you. After January 1 there is no refund, because the lunches and dinner tables are booked on the count. If travel trouble keeps you home after that date, your $250 becomes credit toward Bridge Unleashed online workshops, courses or VIP.
No. The games are at the Hyatt and the bridge rate includes parking, so most of the group will be there, but book wherever suits you.
No. Entry fees go to the ACBL at the table, $17 a session for ACBL members. The $250 covers the partner matching, the team placement, the lessons, the Tuesday to Thursday working lunches and the dinner arrangements.
There is no cap. The group is whoever signs up by January 1, and I size the lunches, the dinners and the assignments to that number.
Partner, team, lessons, lunches, and a week of bridge with people who get it.
